New Modern Campus

Our reputation for the highest quality vocational learning programs ensures an ever growing student body and a need for a modern and expansive campus. After two years of planning, in January 2009 Mackintosh College will be moving to the new Campus Alpha in the epicentre of the Gold Coast business district, Robina. Fulfilling the Mackintosh mission to improve job and employment prospects for our students, the move will support a unified college culture, and provide state-of the-art facilities at a single location that will enable integrated operations and superior student support. The campus was specifically designed so that it would achieve both harmony and diversity within a framework that brings together the essential components of the new college. The campus will host modern student common room facilities and amenities; new computer systems and networks all hosting the latest computer software; large classrooms with modern, ergonomically designed student furniture and high-tech delivery technology; and all only a few minutes walk from the largest transport train and bus depot on the Gold Coast.

New and Improved Courses

Also new to 2009 is a large scope of new and improved courses that have a range of flexible delivery options with something for everyone. All our courses are delivered by industry professionals with current trade knowledge, most of which still have current industry connections, so you can be assured you are learning from the best.

Certificate and Diploma Courses We have increased our nationally recognised course scope to include business administration, retail, customer contact, sales, training and assessment, management, human resource management, event management, commercial cookery, hospitality, hairdressing, salon management and much more! For our international students on study abroad programs, we continue to host short and long term ELICOS and English preparatory courses for that next step into our international approved certificate and diploma courses.

Short Courses For those looking to quickly update their skills, for both international and domestic students we also offer various short courses which last between 1 day and 2 weeks to support a career in hairdressing, hotel reception, bars, gaming or as a café barrister.

Traineeships We are also leading the way with onsite workplace training in retail, business and hospitality across Australia. Consistently in close consultation with all our trainees, we can tailor your training plans and offer remote and on site training assistance.

University Articulation All students undertaking our diploma courses can now also have the opportunity to progress to a bachelor’s degree in one of our partner universities, and shave the years off your university studies!
